Chapter one- Building a rock-solid routine- How to give structure, rhythm and purpose to your daily work.

A famous quote once said;
"Creativity is contagious
pass it on"
-Albert Einstein

Making Room for Solitude

If we make time (20 to 30 minutes) for solitude and reflection we will be able to fins calm and hear our own creative voice. Find time each day (1/2 hour to a hour) to have some quite time to reflect- early mornings before others are up or go to work early. If this is not possible then go to coffee shop or parks etc. Preferably somewhere without internet or other distractions.

Practice solitude for a few minutes and gradually build it up and you will become comfortable with it. Stay upright, focus on nothing in particular except breathing. If thoughts come up, acknowledge but don't engage. Bring self back to breathing. Meditating and spending time in solitude will make you increasingly able to centre your mind and pull your thoughts back to the task in hand.
