Tips for building a renewal into your work day.
  1. Trying to do the more challenging work first.
  2. Do not take on too many at once.
  3. Learn to say no.
  4. Give yourself a break.
  5. Do not take work home.
  6. Don't put off work.
Challenges of daily life often exceed our capaicty to deal with them. We progresively burn our energy resources throughout the day. The equivalent of making continuous withdrawals from our bank account without ever makiing a deposit, At some point you go bankrupt. Sleep is more important than food!
Even small amount of sleep deprivation affect our cognitive abiliy. Less than 2.5% (1 in 4) feel fully rested with less than 7- 8 hours sleep each night. Our brains cannot funtion at the highest level past 90 mintutes. If we push beyond this we are depriving our bodies the ability to rest and renewal. Eventually there will be a price to pay.

Taking a five to ten minute break and getting 7 hours sleep enables the body to consistently work all morning and reduced irritability. Lunchtime 30 minutes walk outside-DO NOT TAKE PHONE!- Improves productivity. When you build renewal and rest, when the right rythems are established then everything in life works better.
